The AMPLY biolibrary consists of thousands of unique peptides with a wide variety of unique properties. Because of AMPLY's ability to extract novel peptide patterns and five years of development and refinement (where a cycle of peptide synthesis, wetlab testing and the retraining of machine learning models has taken place) AMPLY has accrued an enormous reference library of bioactive peptides with exciting and useful biochemical properties. 


Our primary focus to date has been on antibacterial action against the ESKAPE pathogens, twinned with low toxicity, stability, hyper-rapid kill times and biomedically useful properties. However, our development has also spread to explore peptides that can function effectively in anaerobic conditions, novel antifungals and antiparasitics, narrow action ruminal microbiome modifying peptides and mixed-mode peptides that can transition between functions as they degrade or work in tandem with other compounds. 


AMPLY's biolibrary consists of in excess of 23,000 peptides in total, with benchmarked and known performance and functionality when twinned to high throughput peptide synthesis. In other words, a library with more peptides than any publically available peptide database but with practical modelling based on experimental, benchmarked data. AMPLY's novel and known peptide data can be used to explore novel environments, but also as a valuable resource to solve a particular clinical, manufacturing or agricultural issue.

The C-Series Peptides


An example of peptides available in the AMPLY biolibrary, these 5 bioactive peptides were recovered from a single, well characterised plant genome. All are entirely novel with no pattern based homology to any existing peptide: patented, synthetic or naturally occuring.

The AMPLY biolibrary offers access to these peptides and others, either as a direct solution to a problem, as a primer for biomining 'omic data for similar peptides or as a basis for synthetic design.
